The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program We’re helping to send the next generation of leaders to college. Will you be next?

• Must be a high school senior with at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA, plan to pursue studies in the STEM fields at a four-year accredited college or university and show financial need.
• Eligible STEM majors include computer and information systems, engineering, engineering technology, management information systems, mathematics, natural resources and conservation and physical sciences.
• Applicants must live in Southern California Edison’s service territory.
• The top 50 finalists will be required to submit a short video and potentially participate in a final interview.
• Dependents of Edison International and SCE employees and retirees are not eligible.

 

Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) Scholarship- Must be a Latinx/who has lived in Orange County for the past three years.  OC graduate who plans to enroll full-time at a four-year college or university.  First-generation college student.  Financial need (must complete FAFSA or California Dream Act application and submit your Student Aid Report (SAR) or CalSAR.

 

Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship - Merit-based program that helps students fulfill their dreams of higher education. The scholarship is named after Gen and Kelly Tanabe, best-selling authors on education. 

 

Equitable Excellence Scholarship - Deadline to apply is December 18th! To support students throughout their academic journeys, Equitable will provide 100 $5,000 annual scholarships that will be renewed to award recipients each academic year for four years, for a total of $20,000 per recipient. The company will also award 100 one-time $2,500 scholarships that can help students to underwrite immediate costs associated with higher education such as tuition, books or room and board. Doodle 4 Google Scholarship - This year, Google is asking kids to create a doodle that tells the world “What makes me…me.” Kids have all kinds of things that make them unique, so they can use all kinds of materials to create their doodles, from crayons to clay, to yarn, to graphic design. 

 

SuperMoney Financial Literacy Scholarship  SuperMoney's mission is to help everyone reach his or her financial goals. SuperMoney's Financial Literacy Scholarship seeks to celebrate students who share our same mission. Our scholarship program awards $2,500 a year to a student who wants to help Americans improve their financial wellness through continued education.

US Air Force ROTC - Air Force ROTC offers a variety of scholarships that will help relieve the financial burden of a college education. Air Force ROTC Scholarships cover your tuition and most lab fees, plus an annual textbook allowance and up to $500 in spending cash monthly stipend.

Elks Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of Elks members. 

 

 

Harris Personal Injury Lawyers Inc., serving and representing accident victims in 13 locations across California offers a biannual, $1,000 scholarship to students who have demonstrated a determination to pursue their education despite suffering a difficult injury.  

 

2023 CSUF Black Student Scholarship Program Together, the Orange County
Community Foundation and CSUF have established a dedicated scholarship

Beverage Industry College Scholarship Program - Students qualify through their parent's or grandparent's employment with a company holding a valid California beverage alcohol license including restaurants, retail and wholesale grocery establishments, convenience stores, drug stores, airlines, wineries, breweries, etc. 

 

Discover Student Loans Scholarship. $50,000 in scholarships to high school and college students. Students are automatically entered to win a $2,500 scholarship when they sign up to receive helpful tips on planning and paying for college at College Covered. Five winners will be randomly drawn. No purchase or student loan is necessary for students to enter or win. 

 

AFA Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness College Scholarship - Three scholarships to award to the winning top essays that answer the following: how has Alzheimer's changed or impacted your life and what have you learned about yourself, your family, and the community in the face of coping with Alzheimer's? 

 

The Vegetarian Resource Group - The Vegetarian Resource Group will award $10,000 in college scholarship money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. 

CUEA - Scholarship applications for graduating high school seniors of CUEA members are now available from the CUEA office. The parent or guardian of the applicant must be a teacher, speech pathologist, nurse, psychologist, or counselor employed in CUSD and a current member of CUEA. The student must be a graduating senior with an overall GPA of 3.2 or better and the student must be planning to attend college. Please check the CUEA website or CUSD District Office.

 

Capistrano Valley High School PTSA is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships this year for our graduating seniors. All seniors planning on attending a trade/professional school, community college or 4-year college or university after graduation are eligible to apply with paid PTSA Student Membership. The number of scholarships available and amounts awarded depend upon the number and quality of applicants. The minimum scholarship award is $500. Attached is the application. Deadline to apply will be March 27th, 2024

Assistance League of Capo Valley (ALCV) Scholarship - This philanthropy provides scholarships to Capistrano Unified  School District graduating seniors of military families, and families in need of financial support for college and technical school entrance. Click HERE for the application. 

 

Pacific Coast Corvette scholarship program The Pacific Coast Corvettes (PCC) club scholarship in the amount of $3000 will be offered to an eligible candidate who is a graduating senior at a high school within the Capistrano Unified School District.  Because PCC wishes to encourage automobile enthusiast activities and the continued advanced development of automotive technology, this scholarship is supportive of, but not necessarily limited to, that end. 

 

Hearthstone Scholarship  Many students struggle to obtain a college degree due to the rising costs of education. To address this need, the Hearthstone Scholarship Fund was established in 2009. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5,000 and are available to students who reside in a Hearthstone property or in the surrounding community

 

Create a Greeting Card Scholarship - $10,000 scholarship plus win $1,000 for SJHHS! Design a greeting card that will be published by The Gallery Collection.

 

 

Warner Bros. Animation/Hanna-Barbera Honorship - $10,000 scholarship will be awarded each year to a graduating high school student passionate about the entertainment business. You must be enrolling in a college, university, or trade school to study animation. In addition, you will be awarded a paid internship during the summer. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. 

• One (1) individual prize of a $5,000 scholarship.
• Three (3) individual prizes of a $1,000 scholarship.
• Ten (10) individual prizes, consisting of $500 scholarships each

Winners will be announced once applications have been reviewed by the CVRWF Scholarship Committee.

Future Scholars Program - Each year at California State University Fullerton, up to fifty incoming freshman and first-year transfer students are selected as scholarship recipients and are awarded $1,500.  Applicants must be first-time freshmen or first-year transfer students attending CSUF.  In addition, must have earned a GPA of at least 2.5. PFLAG South Orange County has scholarship opportunities available for graduating seniors who will be attending college full-time this fall. Outstanding high school seniors and college/vocational students are encouraged to apply for the scholarships.  Monetary awards of up to $2500 are available to residents (or children of residents) of Orange County between the ages of 17-24 who identify as LGBTQ+, and to straight allies who have directly supported LGBTQ+ youth or the LGBTQ+ community. Abbott and Fenner Scholarship - $1000 scholarship awarded to the student who best writes an essay describing your educational goals explaining your plans on achieving the goals.

The Hamilton Award recognizes high school juniors for their academic, personal, and service achievements. Every year 35 to 40 students nationally are selected to enter their leadership program. Through their Hamilton Leaders Academy, they help their scholars get into college, transition into university life, and then the workforce.
